Dr. Saul Frechtman

Dr. Saul was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Hofstra University with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry. He attended New York University College of Dentistry and was awarded a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and then went on to serve his country in the United States Army as a Captain in the Dental Medical Corps.

His training did not stop there.  Dr. Saul went on to a two-year training program at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey where he received certification in the treatment of TMJ and facial pain disorders.

Dr. Saul is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the American Dental Association , The New Jersey Dental Association , and the Middlesex County Dental Society .  The doctor is also a student at the School of Practical Philosophy located in New York City.

Always an athlete, Dr. Saul is a long-time marathon runner and enjoys tennis and basketball.  Married to his wife Jacqueline, Dr. Saul has three beautiful grandchildren with whom he loves to spend time.

Dr. David Frechtman

Dr. David grew up in Metuchen, New Jersey and earned a B.S. degree in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  He went on to attend Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1990.  After graduating, Dr. David performed a one year residency in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. David joined his father in practice in August, 1991.

Dr. David is a member of the American Dental Association , The New Jersey Dental Association , the Middlesex County Dental Society and the Somerset Study Club.  He is also a student at the School of Practical Philosophy located in New York City.

During his time away from work, Dr. David enjoys following the New York Mets, NASCAR racing, and taking biking and hiking trips.

Allison S. – Patient Care Coordinator

Allison has been with us since November of 2011 and is the first smiling face you see when you walk into our office.  Whether it's greeting patients, scheduling appointments or helping to answer questions, patients truly appreciate her warm and caring demeanor.

Away from the office, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband and young son.  She also enjoys time outdoors, arts and crafts and time with her niece.

Donna Z. -- Patient Care Coordinator

Donna has been working in the dental field for over 17 years and joined Frechtman Family Dental in September of 2015.  She enjoys interacting with patients and helps with all their dental needs so they have a relaxed, positive experience at the office.

Donna is married and has two children and enjoys spending time with family and friends.  She loves going to the gym to take spinning classes.  On the weekends Donna likes to try different restaurants, especially by the water.  Some of her favorite vacation spots are the Florida Keys and Cape May, New Jersey.

Cathy D. – Insurance Coordinator

Cathy has been our insurance and billing coordinator since 2007.  Her priority when submitting our patients insurance claims is to ensure their benefits are maximized.  Prior to joining our team, Cathy was a dental office manager for over 40 years.

Cathy’s passions, in order, are her Bible studies, family, friends and gardening.

Marisa A. – Registered Dental Hygienist

Marisa grew up in New Jersey and attended UMDNJ where she received her A.A. degree in Dental Hygiene.  Our bilingual (Spanish) team member joined us in February, 2010.  She truly enjoys caring for her patients and strives to ensure each one has a gentle, pleasant and educational dental experience. Her goal is to work with you to achieve optimal oral health.

Marisa plans to continue her education to attain her B.A. degree and is licensed to administer anesthesia.  She is married and has a wonderful son.  Marisa’s personal interests include reading, biking and spending time with her family and friends.

Anna K. – Registered Dental Assistant

Originally from Poland, Anna emigrated to the United States 20 years ago with a strong desire to help others.  She attended school in Fairfield, New Jersey to achieve her goal of working within dentistry.

A married mother of a beautiful daughter, Anna has been making our patients smile since 2007. She enjoys traveling, watching comedies and laughing with friends.

Clarissa T. -- Registered Dental Assistant

Clarissa joined our team in August of 2015.  She has been working as a dental assistant for over two years.  After attending New York University, she went on to attend Centro Escolar University's School of Dentistry in Manila, Philippines where she received her degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2002.  After graduating she went on to pursue a specialty in orthodontics and earned a certificate in orthodontics in 2006.  After having her own dental office in the Philippines for 11 years she decided to move back to New Jersey.

Having a strong background in dentistry, in-depth knowledge of dental treatment procedures and good communication skills, Clarissa is an asset to the practice in helping to provide the best dental care to patients by assisting Dr. David

During her free time, Clarissa enjoys baking, working out at the gym and spending time with family and friends.

Julie D. -- Inventory and Purchasing

Julie has been part of the Frechtman Dental family for a few years.  She is from Metuchen and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey.  Her background is in Human Resources having worked at Calvin Klein Cosmetics Company, once a part of Unilever.

Julie is married and has three children.  In her spare time she enjoys yoga, pilates, traveling and spending time with her family.
